THE O.E. ELLIS SOCIETY
OF GREATER KANSAS CITY
The O.E. Ellis Society is a business, civic, and social organization. The men of O.E. Ellis are businessmen from all walks of life, united by the common bonds of dedication to community and camaraderie with one’s fellow-man.

Long-time member, past president, and current Board member, Pat Boppart, says this of the organization, "All of the men in O.E. Ellis seem to share a zest for living."

Much like our namesake, the men of O.E. Ellis are content to remain behind-the-scenes. Most of our members, though philanthropically inclined, are not the names you regularly read about in the newspaper. It’s likely, however, that most Kansas City area residents involved with the community know several of the men of O.E. Ellis.

In the spirit of our namesake, the O. E. Ellis Society is dedicated to quietly improving the Kansas City Greater Metropolitan Area. To that end, over the past several years, we have raised and contributed more than $200,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Ronald McDonald House provides free lodging and support for the families of children served by the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Other philanthropic and charitable causes served by the men of O.E. Ellis include:

The Kansas City Spirit Festival
Kansas City Zoo
Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
Heartland School of Riding
The Bacchus Foundation
"Whacks For Max" (Max Kruse memorial fund)
The O.E. Ellis Foundation
